FreakLabs has joined the Zigbee Alliance! Yep, you heard right. I’ve joined the man, and by 'man’ I mean “management body governing the Zigbee specification”. I’m hoping that joining the Alliance can lend a bit more credibility to the project and also set me up to take a shot at certification towards the middle of the year.

This was all possible due to a very generous sponsorship into the Zigbee Alliance by SmartLabs .
SmartLabs LLC is a Russian company that develops and delivers software solutions for service provider content delivery platforms (IPTV, DVB-S/C/T/H), NGN voice service platforms, OSS/BSS systems, and other innovative solutions for service providers and enterprises.

Thanks! It won't happen until later this year, but I'm hoping that I can pull it off. smilies/smiley.gif

Congratulations, Akiba!

This is great news and really adds momentum for FreakZ and all FOSS enthusiasts :-) I think you will pull it off. (btw, nice contribution, SmartLabs!)
