I updated to svn rev 21. Descriptors can list now without a timeout.
I use a git script to put my check-in version into the device ID string. Can you do that for svn? That would make it easier to identify the version on bug reports.
Like this maybe?
iSerial 3 Beta 0.50-r21
Now I'm back to the timeout when I try to open the ttyACM0 device. If I power cycle the device a couple of times it will randomly start working.
cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: usb_probe_interface
cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: usb_probe_interface - got id
cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: This device cannot do calls on its own. It is no modem.
cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device

It worked this time...
I unplugged/plugged the device.
